Norma Morgan

Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Psalm 113:2
Norma June Morgan was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 19, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old.
Norma attended LSU where she played tennis and pursued general studies. It was there she met the love of her life whom she married and had three children and gained a stepdaughter. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and homemaker. After the passing of her husband, she worked as an x-ray tech & therapist for Ault Clinic and later as a caregiver.

An avid sports fan, she was thrilled to cheer on the LSU Tigers to win the College Football National Championship. Norma loved being with her family and going on family vacations, especially the beach. Norma loved the Lord with all her heart and was a true prayer warrior.

Norma is survived by her loving daughters, April Morsey and husband Skip, and Rebekah Beacham; four grandchildren, Brian Boivin and wife Tonya, Melissa Boivin, Nicholas Smith and wife Samantha, and Nathaniel Sutton and wife Melissa; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Johnson; and nieces, Brenda Johnson and Norma Poole.
Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Troy Ray Morgan, Sr.; parents, George and Akie Boyd; daughter, Jeanne Elizabeth Smith; son, Troy Ray "Chip" Morgan, Jr; nephew, James Johnson and niece, Cheryll Chiasson.
Services are limited and will be held privately. Thoughts and prayers are sincerely appreciated at this difficult time.
