Charles Cone

Charles Lee Cone, 91 years old, beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 12, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on September 10, 1929, born to Eula Belle Knight Cone and Arthur Calvin Cone, in Smackover, AR. He loved watching LSU football and baseball. He honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Holly Payne Cone; daughters, Mikelyn Cone-Pellegrin (Buck), Shannon Long, and Dana Chambliss (Mark); grandchildren, Brandon Braun (Rebecca), Carlin Chambliss, and Camille Womack (Blake); great-grandchildren; Tyler, Camron, Kendall, Kailyn, Kenleigh, and Khloe Braun, and Nora Womack.

Charles is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Calvin Cone; mother, Eula Belle Knight Cone; brother, Horace Cone; and sister, Laverne Carmichael.

Serving as pallbearers will be Buck Pellegrin, Blake Womack, Tyler Braun, Mark Chambliss, Brandon Braun, and Camron Braun.

All services will be private.
