She was a member of First Baptist Church of Central and did charitable work for The Pioneers Group. She was also known as “Minnie The Clown”, dressing up, going to birthday parties, nursing homes, and hospitals to cheer people up, paint faces and just put a smile on everyone’s face.

Pearl is survived by her son, William Allen McDowell; step-daughters, Sheila Johnson, Sandy Tisdale and Sherri Crowell-Thames; step-sons, Darrel Crowell and Greg Crowell; grandchildren, Kaycie, Shawn, Cindy, Dustin, Jack, Jacob, Jeremy, Brandon, Carrie, Cory, Kyle, and Devin; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenny Wood; and a host of nieces and nephews.
