Obituary

Lena Leblanc Jacobsen passed away at her home on February 7, 2022. She was 85 years old. She was a longtime resident of Baker, Louisiana. Lena was born in Assumption Parish and graduated from Assumption High School with the class of 1954. She enjoyed being with her classmates.

Lena is survived by her three sons, James Randal Jacobsen, Lane Michael Jacobsen, and Paul David Jacobsen and wife, Ann Naquin Jacobsen; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Lena is preceded in death by her husband, Truvie Franklin Jacobsen who passed away in 2001.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM, officiated by Father Frank Bass. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
