John Williams

November 16, 2005 — July 11, 2020

John Williams

John Keith Williams was born A Wild Soul on November 16, 2005 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was a 14-year-old young man who tragically passed away on July 10, 2020 due to a swimming accident on the Amite River while John was doing what he loved the most, swimming, which he learned to do as a baby. John enjoyed every second of his life to the fullest, spending time and having fun with his friends, having loved each and every one of them more than words could express.

John was a student at Central Middle School and also attended Zachary Schools in his primary schooling years. No matter what school John attended he was always the “COOL KID” on any campus that his presence was made on. Every person child or adult instantly fell in love with John the moment they met him because of his outgoing, funny, energetic, and straight to the point personality.

John absolutely loved swimming, rapping, playing in the woods, keeping his hair looking good with his own style, making people laugh and just enjoying every second of his life to the fullest, having many experiences that most people can’t say that they’ve ever had.

John is survived by his mother, Michelle Leonor Dunaway-Williams; father, John Stanley Williams, Jr.; brother, Bryce Odes Williams; maternal grandmother, Patricia White; maternal grandfather, Bryan Dunaway; paternal grandmother, Debra Joy Lee; maternal great-grandmothers, Avelina Sulayao and Imogene Dunaway; uncles, James White, III, Jeremiah Dunaway, Keith Hannon, and Brett Couvillion; aunt, Jillian Dunaway; father’s girlfriend, Nicole Tolar; and her children, Brennan, Kaden, and Reese Dickinson; along with many great aunts, uncles, cousins and a countless number of friends.

John is proceeded in death by his maternal great-grandfathers, Julito Sulayao and Timothy Dunaway; paternal grandfather, Robert Edward Lee; and cousin, Kevin Neal Dunaway.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation at Life Tabernacle Church, 9323 Hooper Road, Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 9:00 AM until funeral service at 11:30 AM, officiated by Reverend Tony Spell. Graveside service will immediately follow at Louisiana National Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana.

John, you will always & forever be LOVED, MISSED and THOUGHT ABOUT. You will never be forgotten. We will make sure that you and your LEGACY WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE ON FOREVER & ALWAYS because you truly are A LEGEND IN OUR EYES.
