Florence Besson Foreman, 76 years old, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 9, 2021. She entered this world on June 30, 1944, born to Keitha and William Besson, in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a faithful member and Sunday school teacher of Istrouma Baptist Church. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Florence is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Ann Rushing (William II) and Melissa Foreman Brady (Warren); seven grandchildren, Colby Rushing (McCall), Addison Bellard (Alex), Delaney Brady, Aldin Brady, Garrett Rushing, Wes Brady, and Lynndon Rushing; three great grandchildren, Benjamin Bellard, Henry Bellard, and Jack Rushing; siblings, Pat Swan, Juanita Massey, Mable Case, and Gladys Sims; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Florence is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Foreman; her parents, Keitha and William Besson; her brother, Clyde Colvin Besson; and her sister Mary Virginia Besson.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA on Saturday, March 13, 2021, from 9am until funeral service at 11am, officiated by Reverend Ron Lambe. A graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
