Elva Edora Middlebrooks Timme, 100 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Great Great-Grandmother was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 13, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on October 2, 1921, born to Addie and David Middlebrooks, Sr., in Church Point, LA. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Zachary. She was always keeping her mind sharp with crossword puzzles and puzzles. She enjoyed her birthdays and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Elva is survived by her daughters, Beverly Ann Tiner, and Mary Elizabeth Fields; grandchildren, Connie Smith, Vickie Lewis, Mark G. Fields, Julie Nickles, Kenneth Timme, Jr., and Mary Timme ; great-grandchildren, Kevin Smith, Katherine Jones, Desirae Fields, Mark Lane Fields, Nickolas Timme, Benjamin Timme, Allison Vaughn, and Sophia Timme; great great grandchildren, Bennett Jones, Ida Perez, and Olivia Jones; sisters, Irene Hatchell and Pearl Mosley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Elva is preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Timme, Jr.; father, David Middlebrooks Sr.; mother, Addie Middlebrooks; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Allen Timme, Sr. and Gloria Timme; grandson, Michael Fields; son-in-laws, Ronnie Tiner and Harvey Fields; brothers, Wilby "Boot" Middlebrooks, Herman Middlebrooks, and David Middlebrooks, Jr.; and sisters, Verbie Sandifer, Mary Lou Taylor, Merle Bertrand, and Shirley Middlebrooks.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Thursday, June 16, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Wayne Barnes.
