Elsie Turner

Elsie Mae Turner, 86 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, soon to be Great-Great Grandmother and friend to many was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 17, 2019. She entered this world on February 28, 1933, born to Pearl and Fredrick Vogelsang, in Wheeling, WV. Elsie worshiped and held true to the Lutheran faith. She was a retired nurse after 30 years of service. She is known for her generosity and great love for her family.

Elsie is survived by children, Verna Lee Hamilton (Jeffery), Sheila Buchanan, Teresa Gooding, Bruce Alan Buchanan, and Jeffrey Turner; step-son, James Alan Turner; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 2 nieces; and 1 nephew.

Elsie is preceded in death by her husband, James Albert Turner; her father, Fredrick Robert Vogelsang; mother, Pearl Virginia Vogelsang; and two sons, Robert Buchanan and Richard Buchanan.
