Stitt, Dalton David "Rocky"

Rocky, age 64, passed away unexpectedly February 17, 2022 in Baton Rouge. He was born September 7, 1957 in Baton Rouge to his parents Ebba Day Wilson and Charles Ray "Charlie" Stitt.

He is survived by his mother, Ebba Day Wilson, his son, Brandon Stitt and wife Maura and grandson, James Wilson Stitt of Houston. His sisters Kitty Downs and husband Rusty of Hoover, AL and Katheryn Stitt of Jackson, MS, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews,'and so many dear friends. Rocky attended Silliman Institute and graduated from Clinton High School in 1975. He attended LSU. Throughout his life Rocky had numerous occupations from hotel management to selling neon signs. He found his calling later in life by helping others recover. He was greatly appreciated and loved by many.

He is preceded in death by his wonderful grandparents, Sidney Wilton Day and Thyra Norder Day, his father, Charles Ray "Charlie" Stitt, his cousin, Luighi (Tony) Flabiano, Jr. and Stepfather, James I. "Pete" Wilson.

Pallbearers will be Billy Davis, Lonnie Brewer, John David, Mickey Martin, Edgar Cruz, and Michael Stitt.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation on Monday, February 21, 2022, at Baker Funeral Home, Baker, LA, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, LA.
