Charles Tillman Hathcock Jr, 78 years old, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 15, 2020. He entered this world on April 10, 1942, born to Clara and Charles Hathcock, Sr, in Rosedale, MS. Charles honorably served his country in the United States Army for 13 years and was a proud Vietnam Veteran.
Charles is survived by his son, Thomas Hathcock, Sr. of Louisiana; daughters, Dawn Miller of Arizona, Melinda Arnold of Texas and Valerie Amador of California; grandchildren AJ, Thomas, Candice, Kevin, Amanda, Emmeli and Shelby; great-granchildren Adeline, Locklen and Beckett; brother, James Hathcock (Patricia) of Mississippi; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Charles, Tillman as he was known to his family, was a man with nothing but love in his heart for his family and friends. He loved camping, fishing, especially golfing and never met a stranger. He had an awesome love for his wife Jenny and his children.
Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Hathcock; father, Charles Tillman Hathcock, Sr; mother, Clara Pollan Hathcock.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Friday, October 2, 2020, from 10:00 AM until the memorial service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Matt Hays. The graveside service with military honors will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, in Baker, Louisiana.
