Charles Dunaway

Charles Everett Dunaway, 77 years old, beloved brother and uncle was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 26, 2020. He entered this world on April 24, 1943, born to Myrtle and Monroe "Dago" Dunaway, in Jayess, MS. Charles worked for the Illinois Central Railroad of Baton Rouge for 18 years. He was a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church, Pike County, MS and worshiped at Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge.

Charles is survived by his brother and sisters-in-law, Phillip "Wayne" Dunaway (Shirley), Jean Dunaway, and Marie Dunaway; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Charles is preceded in death by his father, Monroe Davis "Dago" Dunaway; mother, Myrtle Lee Ready Dunaway; and brothers and sister-in-law, Jimmy Dunaway (Flo), Timmy Dunaway, Billy Ray Dunaway.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the Funeral Service at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Jay Avance. The burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
