Bessie Ann Brashear Krumholt, 82 years old, beloved Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 27, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on October 3, 1938, born to Eunice and Jesse Brashear, in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a member of St Isidore Catholic Church.
Bessie is survived by her daughters, Edie Kirby, Karen Meliet and husband, Gary, and Terri Krumholt; grandchildren, Brittany Elam and husband, Bo, Amanda Meliet, and Brooke Willis and husband, Camron; great-grandchildren, Madison Elam, Troy "Tripp" Elam, and Kaelynn Welch; siblings, Bobby Brashear, Myrtis Keith, Madeline Bueche, Margaret Nolan, Charlotte Marshall, Jessie Drago, and Faye Gaudin; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Bessie is preceded in death by her husbands, Shellie Krumholt and William "Bill" Krumholt; father, Jesse Brashear; mother, Eunice McCulloch Brashear; and sister, Betty Lou Brashear Lee.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Brashear, Gary Meliet, Camron Willis, Joshua Magnuson, Bo Elam, James Bourg, and Tim Schlatre. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Krumholt, Edgar Martin, Mike Martin, Greg Kirby, and her many nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at St. Isidore The Farmer Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Road, Baker, LA on Monday, February 01, 2021, from 1:00PM until the funeral service at 2:00 PM, officiated by Father Mike Moroney. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana. Masks are required upon entering the church.
