Yvonne Morris

Yvonne Stephany Morris, age 94, born to George and Edna Stephany on February 2, 1922, went to be with her Lord on December 21, 2016. She was a jack of all trades and loved to cook, paint and knit. She was a parishioner of St. John The Baptist Catholic Church.

Yvonne is survived by granddaughter, Heather Marie Morris and great-granddaughter, Chelsea Authement.

Yvonne is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert C. Morris; three sons, Clintern "Red" Morris, Bruce Wayne Morris and Vernon Guthans, and parents, George and Edna Woods Stephany.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker on Friday, December 23, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Graveside service and burial will follow Monday, December 26, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Baton Rouge. Pastor Jay Avance will officiate the services.
