Willie George

Billie was born March 4, 1927 in Brookhaven, MS, and went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, June 8, 2014. Awaiting her arrival were her parents, John and Nora Blackwell sisters, Christine Walls, Irene Jordan, and Lucille Delaughter and brothers, Clifton, Ralph, Dudley, and Felix Blackwell. She was 87, and resident of Central.

Never having an unkind word for anyone, Billie leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband of 44 years, Debbie George loving daughter, Barbara Collins grandchildren, Dewayne Collins and wife Michelle, and Bryan Collins and wife, Karen five great grandchildren two greatgreat grandchildren stepchildren, Brenda Gail and Tandy Sue George, Debbie Faye Gautreaux and husband Russell, and Virginia Violet Laverne sisters, Frances Adams and husband Oscar, and Ruth Fryer and a brother, Nalty Blackwell.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at noon, conducted by Bro. George Scruggs, Jr. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.

Billie was a member of Harding Street Baptist Church. She will be sadly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
