Violet Pate Cantu
A resident of Denham Springs and a native of Baton Rouge, she passed away at her home on Saturday, August 24, 2013. She was 77, and a former employee with Gambinos Bakery. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, from 58pm. Survived by son, Rick Cantu of Denham Springs two sistersinlaw, Anna Belle Hasselbeck and Rose Ritter Pate brotherinlaw, Charles Cantu and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Heleodoro Cantu sister, Hazel Yoes brother, Jerald E. Pate, Jr. and her parents, Marguerite Patez and Jerald E. Pate, Sr. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to CAAWS.
