Venia "Lee" House

Venia "Lee" Kerry House, 78 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 30, 2022, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on December 23, 1943, born to Louvenia and Arzene Kerry, in Derry, LA.

Venia is survived by her daughters, Angel Aucoin, Teri Hewitt and husband, Thomas, Debra Watts, and Kay Burt; grandchildren, Ryan Rome, Cody William Hewitt, and Jamie Leigh Ott and husband, Jarred; great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Rome and Blake Kerr, along with another great grandchild on the way; brother, John Kerry and wife, Sharon; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Venia is preceded in death by her husband, Robert William House, Jr.; grandson, Percy "P.J." Rome; son-in-law, Ray Aucoin, Jr.; parents; 2 brothers; and 4 sisters.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Kerry, Cody Hewitt, John Kerr, Salvin Ethridge, Todd Major, and Jarred Ott.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Thursday, June 02, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home, on Friday, June 3, 2022, from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Reverend Sidney Stewart. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
