Thomas "Pepaw" Richardson Bethany, 89 years old, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 29, 2024. Pepaw entered this world on April 4, 1934, born to Ruby and Thomas Bethany, in Shuqualak, MS. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. A proud member of the Honor Guard at the Louisiana Veterans Home. He served as a Deacon in the Baptist Church for many years.
Pepaw is survived by two daughters, Marsha Price and husband Steve, and Lisa Bethany; son, John Barham and fiancé Cherie Vaughan; 2 sisters, Frances Cammack and Rosalyn Ladd; eight grandchildren, Carlye, Jessie, Kristen, Celeste, Jonathan, Danielle, Ashli, and Sydni; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pepaw is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette "Memaw" Stallings Bethany; father, Thomas "Pip" Thornton Bethany; and mother, Ruby "Mip" Richardson Bethany.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the Graveside Service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6213 Groom Road, in Baker, Louisiana on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at 2:00 PM. Services will be officiated by Reverend Ernest Phelps.
