Shantel Lambert

Shantel LaNell Lambert, 28 years old, beloved mother, sister, cousin and friend was called by the Holy Spirit on April 12, 2018, to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She entered this world on September 26, 1989, in Baton Rouge, LA. She had a passion and love for her kids and she raised her kids to have the same passion and love for everyone they meet.

Shantel is survived by her 4 precious children, Jaylinn Marie Lambert, Jay'Ace Micha Lambert, Ja'Nayah Michelle Lambert, and Jolie Rachelle Lambert; aunt, Nell Fields and husband Billy; uncle, Paul Lambert; her very close cousin and friend, Natasha Waits; and numerous cousins.

Shantel is preceded in death by her mother, Linda Lambert Valenzuela; adopted mother/maternal grandmother, Agnes Marie Lambert; and maternal grandfather, Veazie Meyers.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, Monday, April 16, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Shirley and Lurkin Weber.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Donna and Edward McQueary and De'Anna McQueary for the love and care and continued care given to Shantel's children.
