Sandra Mott

Sandra Louise Jones Mott, 72 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Sister was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 14, 2019. She entered this world on September 26, 1946, born to Thelma and Horace Jones in Centreville, Ms. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved watching LSU and Saints football.


Sandra is survived by her daughters, Janan Noland and husband Jonathan, and Julia Stone and husband Justin; grandchildren, Lillian Noland, Silas Noland, Johnny Noland, Grady Starns, and Emmitt Stone; brother, Richard Jones and wife Cindy; sister, Peggy Colomb and husband Dale; close friends and neighbors, Tony and Ginger Conrad; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years James Wilson Mott, Jr.; father, Horace Jones; and mother, Thelma Jones.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, La., on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home, Baker, Louisiana, on Wednesday, September 18, 2019, from 8:00 AM until the funeral service at 9:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:30 AM, in Liberty, Mississippi.
