Sandra Kimball

Sandra Anne Kimball, 77 years old, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 30, 2017. She was born to Samuel and Iris Mayeux on August 20, 1939. Sandra was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend and she will be missed by all who knew her. Sandra was known for her passion with teaching line dancing.

Sandra is survived by her son, Alan Ray Kimball; daughters, Marla Kay Kimball and Shanie Kimball Major; four grandchildren, David Chemin, Matthew Chemin, Rae Major, and Sunny Major; two great-grandchildren, Kade Chemin and Piper Chemin; five siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Raymond M. Kimball; father, Samuel Joseph Mayeux, Sr.; and mother, Iris Allumns.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker.
