Sam Joseph Marcello

A resident of Central, Sam passed away peacefully at his home, on Saturday, June 6, 2015. He was 75, and a native of Donaldsonville. He was a former auto mechanic, and retired from Auto Zone.

Sam is survived by his wife of 54 years, Merline Bennett Marcello; daughter, Suzanne Wagner; son, Clint Joseph Marcello and wife, Catherine; granddaughter, Mitzi Marcello; a sister, Lena Melancon and husband, Henry; a brother, Michael Marcello; sister-in-law and caretaker, Charlene Meyers; and a brother-in-law, Louie Gene Bennett, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Marcello; and his in-laws, Lawrence and Claudell Bennett.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, June 9, from 5-9pm, followed by cremation.
