Ryan Butters

Ryan James Butters, 30 years old, beloved son, grandson, father, and friend to many, was called home to his Heavenly Father on June 4, 2018. He entered this world on October 30, 1987, in Baton Rouge, LA. His son Aiden, was a gift from God and was his love, pride and joy. Ryan was full of character and quick wit. He could bring life to a room when everyone was together. Ryan fought through so many obstacles in his life with passion. He was perfect in all his imperfections. He was always moving forward and never looked in the rearview mirror. He had a beautiful, humble soul and will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Ryan is survived by his son, Aiden Ryan Butters; mother, Tracie Turner Melville and husband Dennis; father, Denver Joe Butters; maternal grandfather, James "Jim" Turner; paternal grandmother, Shirley Ezelle and husband Rodney; brother, Austin "Lane" Butters; sister, Breanna Butters; half-sister, Shyanna Butters; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and a special friend, Carol Barnes.

Ryan is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Sandra Turner; and paternal grandfather, Bobby Joe Butters.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home, Thursday, June 7, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until the service begins in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker.
