Ruth Watts

Ruth Teer-Glaser Watts, 86 years old, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 5, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on September 21, 1938, born to Adele and James Teer, in Beaumont, TX. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Zachary, LA.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Gordy Glaser (Colleen) and Bobby Glaser (Jami); daughter, Shirley Morris; 11 grandchildren, Courtney Fuselier (Andy), Britney Felder (Matt), Brady Glaser (Brittney), Paul Glaser (Haley), Lee Glaser (Brooke), Isaac Glaser, David Morris (Natalie), Zack Morris (Ashtyn), Gregg Morris (Katelyn), Ryan Morris (Grace) and Abby Rollins (Trey); 25 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ruth is preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald "Pete" Glaser; and second husband, Joseph "Jiggs" Watts; father, James M. Teer; and mother, Adele Willis Teer.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Pastor David Morris and Pastor Brady Glaser. The graveside service and burial will follow at Greenwell Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana.
