Ruby Gulino

Ruby Lee Ballow Gulino, best known as Ms. Ruby, 98 years old, went to be with her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, on November 22, 2017. She was born to Ed and Molly Ballow on March 31, 1919 in Jackson, Louisiana. She enjoyed being a homemaker because it allowed her the time to make crafts. Ruby was passionate about meeting and helping people in her community.

Ruby is survived by her niece, Hazel Mott; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special friend, Sue McCleary and acquaintances at the beauty shop.

Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Gulino; parents, Edward and Molly Ballow; four sisters, Addie Fleming, Bessie Sips, Mary Morgan, and Martha Wales; and three brothers, Thomas, Floyd and Sam Ballow.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Friday, November 24, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until the religious service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Reverend Les Colvin. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
