Raymond Boudreaux, Jr.

Raymond Joseph Boudreaux, Jr., a man of profound faith and infectious humor, peacefully entered the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 21, 2025. At 66 years old, Raymond leaves behind a legacy of hard work, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to his family in Baton Rouge, LA.

Born on September 18, 1959, in Brownsfield, LA, to Margaret and Raymond Boudreaux, Raymond grew up with a spirit of determination that defined his life. He was known by all as a tireless worker, a man who found dignity in labor and took pride in providing for those he loved. Yet, it was his quick wit and joyful heart that truly set him apart; he possessed the rare gift of being able to brighten any room, turning strangers into friends with a well-timed joke or a warm smile.

He is survived by his loving sister, Amanda and her husband Albert "Joe" Hankins; and nephew, Bolie Burkes and wife Amber, and numerous cousins; to them he was more than just a relative, he was a cornerstone of their lives. As a beloved brother and uncle, he was a constant source of support, wisdom, and, above all, joy. His presence was a reminder of the importance of family and the power of a merry heart.

While he has departed this world due to natural causes, his spirit remains a vibrant part of the community he loved. Raymond's life was a testament to the virtues of kindness and diligence, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

There will be a private graveside service at the Woodland Cemetery in Kentwood, LA.
