Patty Laurendine

Patty Lou Laurendine, 78 years old, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on September 12, 1945, born to Hervy and Vera Gilleylen Summers.

Patty is survived by her daughters, Tricia Mayfield and husband James and Tonya Bankston; grandchildren, Jessica, Lacie, and Kacie; great-grandchildren, Nick, Riley, Kyla, Ava, Robert, Remi, Axton, and Jameslee; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Patty is preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Hilman Laurendine; parents, Hervy Summers and Vera Gilleylen; and sisters, Jimmie, Jane and Julia.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 9:30 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Reggie Willcutt. The graveside service and burial will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery, in Zachary, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital,

501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Patty's private sitters, the staff at Lane Regional Hospital and Our Lady of the Lake.
