Monroe Robbie Randall, Sr., 87, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, a respected friend and a man of God, always ready to serve, Monroe was called to his home in Heaven place on Sunday, October 30, 2016. He entered this world on June 27, 1929, born to Oscar and Emma Randall. A longtime resident of Baker, active member for 67 years with Operating Engineers Local 406, and Parishioner of Bethany World Prayer Center, Monroe left a lasting impression on family, church, and community with his heart to serve.
Monroe is survived by his wife, Julia Randall; son, Monroe "Robbie" Randall, Jr. and wife Elisa; daughters, Judy Randall Arnold and husband Norman Arnold, Sr., Michelle Delaine Randall, and Kim Randall Lejeune and her husband, the late Michael Lejeune; grandchildren, Brandi, Bridget, Josh and wife Leah, Chad and wife Brandy, Chase and wife Tara, Allison; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Allen Randall and wife Edith.
Monroe is preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Jean Randall; sisters, Mattie Randall, Lillian Hemphill, Susie Randall, Lola Boles, and Lucy Williams; brothers, J.D. and Herman Randall.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Bethany World Prayer Center, North Campus, Baker, LA, on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visiting will continue at Bethany World Prayer Center, on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Garlin Mizell will officiate the services.
