Melissa "Missy" Candace Morgan Ford

A resident of Clinton, Missy passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Baton Rouge General Medical Center, Bluebonnet, after battling cancer. She was 47, and a native of Baker.

Missy was a 1985 graduate of Baker High School. She loved her job as a bookkeeper at W.D. Schock Company, and enjoyed cross stitching. She was a huge fan of Luke Bryan, and the LSU Tigers. She loved her children above all else; and also loved her dog, McKenzie Mae.

Missy is survived by twin sons, Anthony Bryant Ford and Samuel Morgan Ford; mother, Katherine Lemay Holliday (Louie); sister, Heather Rana Holliday (Wayne); nephews, Tyler Wayne and Austin Wayne Holliday; Bryant Ford; Randel Holliday, Sr.; Randel Holliday, Jr. (Robin); Keagan Holliday; Billy Bertoniere (Amanda); Justin Bertoniere; Brianna Bright; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Albert Lemay, Sr. and Nita Lemay; and her paternal grandparents, Blanchie and Curtis Holliday.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Thursday, June 11, from 5-9pm, and on Friday, June 12, from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Pallbearers are Edward Honeycutt, Collin Honeycutt, Chase Honeycutt, Tyler Holliday, Wayne Holliday, and Michael Lemay.
