Maxie Melancon

Maxie Lee Melancon, 88 years old, resident of Holden, LA, passed away, on Friday, July 24, 2020. She entered this world on June 24, 1932, born to Florence and Eddie Crowder, in Hammond, LA.

Maxie is survived by her sons, Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Garon (Betty) and Eddie Joseph Garon; daughter, Wanda Garon Harrison; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and sister, Doshie McKay.

Maxie is preceded in death by her first husband, Ivy Garon; second husband, Joseph Melancon; parents, Eddie and Florence Barber Crowder; and sister, Joyce Finch.
