Mary Stewart

Mary Rose passed away on Friday, August 28, 2015 at the age of 56. She was a resident of Jackson, LA and native of Baton Rouge, LA.

Mary Rose was an employee of Riverbend Nuclear Plant for 25 years.

Mary is survived by her husband, Andy Stewart; mother, Rita Rabalais; three sisters and two brother-in-laws, Valerie and Gibson Gant, JoAnn and Kenneth Saucier, and Monica Soday; brother and sister-in-law, Donnie and Donna Rabalais, Jr; step-son, Andrew M. Stewart; special cousin who was like a sister, Beverly Hayes; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her father, Donald J. Rabalais, Sr.; first husband, Raleigh Landry; and brother-in-law, Frank Soday.

Family request visiting hours to be observed on Sunday, August 30, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd, Baker, LA. Visiting hours will resume on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 am in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home.

Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Rabalais, Kenneth Saucier, Gibson Gant, Perry Stagg, Everett Rabalais, and Johnny Lemoine.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Venu Kakarala, Dr. Dustin Louge, and Dr. Michael Castine.
