Mary Farris

Mary Nell Drummond Farris, 64 years old, beloved Mother and Grandmother, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on August 26, 1959, born to Ruby Nell Drummond and Jimmy Drummond, in Baton Rouge, LA. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

Mary is survived by her sons, Jimmy Farris and wife, Nicole, and Jesse Farris; daughter, Whitney White and husband, Lloyd; grandchildren, Katelyn Farris, Michael Farris, Ruby Farris, Isabella Farris, Ambellina Farris, Bradley White, and Isaiah White; sister, Kay Drummond; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, James Michael "Mike" Farris, Sr.; her parents; daughter, Faith Farris; and sister, Sandra Prescott.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, on Tuesday, January 30,2024, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, officiated by Reverend Richard Metz. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
