Mary Elizabeth House Alexander

A resident of Denham Springs, she was promoted to glory on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Harvest Manor Nursing Home. She was 72, and a native of Natchez, MS.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Monday, July 21, from 58pm, and on Tuesday, July 22, from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Captains Brett and Mary Meredith. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Mary is survived by a daughter, Ruth Marie Howlett DeWeese and husband Jack of Denahm Springs two sons, Robert Bobby Howlett and wife Nancy of Baton Rouge, and Richard Earl Howlett and wife Jean stepchildren, Angela Boykin and Charlie Alexander, Jr., both of Philadelphia, MS brother, James Pug House grandchildren, Rose Howlett and Christina Billeaudau of Jackson, LA Racheal E. Lee of Denham Springs and Aaron W. Howlett and wife Amanda of Walker greatgrandchildren, Clair E. Lee, Hayden A. Lee, and Gracelyn M. Lee, all of Denham Springs, and another greatgrandchild on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by husband, Charles S. Alexander, Sr. father, Robert W. House, Sr., mother, Lillie Mae Boyer House sister, Carolyn Temple five brothers, Robert W. House, Jr., Edward House, John House, Danny Ray House, and Phillip House and a grandson, Brandon M. Howlett.
