Mark Bennett

Mark Wayne Bennett, age 58, a resident of Baker, Louisiana, entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, January 3, 2026. He was born on October 3, 1967, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was adopted into a loving family.

Mark was a man of profound faith. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and spending time outdoors. He was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend to many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mark is survived by his four children: Dessie Kline and her husband, Richard Kline; Tristian Bennett; Emily Bennett; and Waylon Bennett. He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Ashley Marie, Chance Barnard, Bryan Barnard, Micah Kline, Justyce Barnard, and Abigail Kline; his mother, Mary Bennett; and his sister, Desiree' Bennett.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Ernest "Buck" Bennett.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a celebration of life in memory of Mark. The service will be held at The Church International, 13423 LA-431, St. Amant, Louisiana 70774. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:00 a.m., concluding at 12:00 p.m.
