Mack Toler Benton

Owner of Central Electric Corp. and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died on Monday, December 14, 2009 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 90, a US Air Force Veteran of WWII, having served in China and India, and a native of Norwood, LA. Graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Norwood, LA on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 1pm. He is survived by a daughter, Sherry Lea Benton; a sister, Lucille Martinez; three grandchildren, Melissa Benton Hebert, Melody Benton Thompson, and Emma Leigh Benton; and three great grandchildren, Brayden Benton, Maddyn Thompson, and Haddox Hebert. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Marion G. Benton, Robert Benton, and Carl Spencer Benton; sister, Louise Benton Gardner; and his parents, Mack and Emmie DeLee Benton.
