Linda Marie Babin

Linda Babin, 79 years old, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on April 27, 1947, in New London, WI. She was a member of the Catholic Church and several doll collector groups.

Linda is survived by her son, Trae Morgan; daughters, Heather Deshotels (David), Corinne LaPrarie (Jamie); 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Pete Freund, Mike Freund, and Joey Newell; 2 sisters, Karen Freund George and Llewena Newell; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dotsy Babin; father, Earl Freund; mother, Kathleen Feehan Freund; and sister, Corinne Freund Brobst.

Serving as pallbearers will be Trae Morgan, David Deshotels, Ross Deshotels, Pete Freund, Jamie LaPrarie, and Devin Payne.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. The Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, in Baker, Louisiana.
