Kimberly Ackerman

Kimberly Ann Ackerman, 55 years old, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on July 3, 1968, born to Evelyn and Clifton Welch, in Baton Rouge, LA. Kimberly loved her family with a deep love. She also loved her pets and enjoyed the outdoors.

Kimberly is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Raymond Ackerman; daughter, Ashley Ackerman(Justin); mother, Evelyn Noland Welch; brother, Cliff Welch(Phoebe); sisters, Tammy Heil (David) and Cindy Willis (Randy); nieces, Lisa Hawkins and Kerri Heil; and nephews, Eric Willis and Derrick Willis.

Kimberly is preceded in death by her father, Clifton Layfatte Welch.

Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Willis, Eric Willis, Derrick Willis, Cliff Welch, David Heil, and Justin King.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visiting will continue at Baker Funeral Home on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
