Kathy Smith

On Friday, Dec. 22nd, Heaven welcomed an amazing, protective angel by the name of Kathy Smith.

She was the mom of two, Thomas Smith and Kasey Watson, the grandmother of three, Kennedy, Katherine, and Caroline Watson, but the mother of many. She would do everything possible to impact each and every person who met her. From helping with homework to being a shoulder to cry on she was there. She was a friend to everyone.

Above all, the one friend who supported, protected, and encouraged her the most was her best friend and husband for 32 years, Dan Smith. They were the definition of love. Even God's "till death do us part" could not separate them, as this was tested and proven over ten years ago.

Kathy is survived by her three brothers Randall, Michael, and Lane Link, her sister Margaret Link, and her parents Tommy Link and Effie Mack.

Come join us Tuesday Dec. 26 from 10:00AM until 12:00PM at Baker Funeral Home, then at 12:00PM for Heaven's reception of Kathy Smith.

The graveside service and burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker.
