Juanita White Wyatt

A resident of Baker, Juanita passed away on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary. She was 84, a retired secretary, and a native of Baton Rouge.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Monday, Nov. 24, 2014 from 1:00pm until memorial service in the chapel at 3:00pm, conducted by Rev. Basil Wicker. She will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Baker at a later date.

Juanita is survived by two daughters and sonsinlaw, Darlene and Jody Dickerson, and Jan Wyatt and George Guhse son and daughterinlaw, Joe and Melissa Wyatt and three grandchildren, Charley Lee, Carrie Dickerson and husband Andy Finnell, and Willie Dickerson.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Wyatt a brother, Charles Sonny White and her parents, Joseph and Sarah Bankston White.

Juanita was a member of Faith Baptist Church. She enjoyed scrabble, and crossword puzzles, and played the piano in her younger days, but her true passion in life was her children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Zachary Council on Aging, where Juanita liked spending time.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Grace Nursing Home, and Mrs. Joyce Stewart for taking such good care of our mom in her final days.
