Juanita Rainwater

Juanita Cavalier Rainwater, 77 years old, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 19, 2018. She entered this world on September 29, 1940, in Pointe Coupee Parish. She retired from Georgia Pacific. Juanita was a faithful member of St. Isidore Catholic Church.

Juanita is survived by her son, Darryl Rainwater; grandson, Daulton Rainwater; brother, John Cavalier; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Juanita is preceded in death by her loving husband, Winford Rainwater; parents, Honore and Edna Cavalier; and sister, Vivian Daniel.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Thursday, March 22, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home, Friday, March 23, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Deacon Shelley Joseph. Burial will follow on a later date.
