Josephine Betty Duncan

Josephine B. Duncan peacefully departed this world on April 13, 2026, at the age of 82. Josephine was born on February 19, 1944 in Kentwood, Louisiana. She accepted the Lord at an early age at Spring Creek Baptist Church. After moving to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she continued her fellowship at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Jesse B. Bilberry.

Josephine is survived by her five kids; Yvette Tucker, O'Neal Duncan, Sandra Duncan, Ykeith Duncan (Mecie), and Troy Duncan; twelve grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and two sisters.

Josephine was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Alice Winters; siblings, Beatrice, Estus, Joe, and Ada "Janice" Winters.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Thursday, April 23, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, in Baker, Louisiana.
