Jimmie Lee Conrad, 90, of Baker, Louisiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by the ones he laughed with, lived for and loved on July 28, 2016. He entered this world on November 6, 1925 in Somner, MS, born to Hubert and Ethel Conrad. He accomplished many things over his 90 years of life. He was a member of the Local 198 and a Mason Lodge 441. Most of all he was the most loving and caring man you could meet. His greatest enjoyment, however, was being surrounded by his family and friends.
He leaves behind his children, Jimmie Conrad, Jr of Baker, Louisiana, Belinda Conrad of New Orleans, Louisiana, Theresa Conrad of Huntsville, Arkansas, Loran Conrad of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Susan Partrich of Fordoche, Louisiana, Tony Casey of Zachary, Louisiana; stepchildren, Scotty Floyd Conrad of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Lisa Foster of DeLand, Florida, Randy Foster of Walker, Louisiana; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren along with family members and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visiting will resume on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Baker Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Services will be officiated by Reverend Basil Wicker.
