Jill Johnson

Jill Woodward Johnson, 58, and a resident of Baker/Zachary, LA, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on April 19, 2017, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge. Jill was born on April 27, 1958 to John Paul and Jimmie Lou Woodward in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a faithful sports mom as she never missed a game.

Jill is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, David "Lane" Johnson; 2 sons, Blaine Bourgeois and David "Trey" L. Johnson III; daughter, Alyssa Johnson Hollier and husband Slade; grandson, Cayce Hollier; mother, Jimmie Lou Woodward; and 2 brothers, Ken Woodward and Dale Woodward.

Jill was preceded in death by her father, John Paul Woodward.

Pallbearers will be Slade Hollier, Blaine Bourgeois, Trey Johnson, Zach Woodward, Dale Woodward and Ken Woodward.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA on Sunday, April 23, 2017, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at Baker Funeral Home on Monday, April 24, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. until her celebration of life service at 12:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Basil Wicker. The graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, LA.
