Jessie Ducote

Jessie Paul Ducote "Fuzzy", 76 years old, a loving father, Paw Paw, and friend, was called to his eternal resting place on May 2, 2018, at Ochsner Medical Center. He was born to Elsma and Ivy Ducote on February 25, 1942, in Simmesport, LA. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard.

Jessie is survived by his two daughters, Angela Ducote (Susan Robinson), and Amy Ducote Berteau; two sons, James M. Ducote (Bobiye), and Jeffrey P. Ducote (Claire); two brothers, Cilton Ducote and Terry Ducote; six grandchildren, Lauren Witt, Blaine "B.J." Ducote, Brennon Landry, Lane Berteau, Decota Berteau, and Celine Ducote; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jessie was preceded in death by his loving wife, Anna Sanchez Ducote; parents, Elsma and Ivy Ducote; and his brother, E.J. "RuRu" Ducote.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family to celebrate the life of Jessie at the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd., Baker, LA, on Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel.
