Jeanne Smith

Jeanne Elizabeth Smith, 54, a resident of Central went to be with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, on September 3, 2016. She was born on January 13, 1962. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7.

Jeanne is survived by her husband, Jim Smith; three sons, Brian Boivin and wife Tonya, Nathaniel Sutton and fiancé Melissa, Nicholas Smith and fiancé Samantha; and her daughter, Melissa Boivin and fiancé Robert; 5 grandchildren; her mother, Norma Morgan; her sisters, April Morsey and husband Skip, and Rebekah Beacham; and her brother, Chip Morgan, and other loving extended family.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her father, Troy Morgan, Sr.

Pallbearers will be Jim Smith, Nicholas Smith, Brian Boivin, Nate Sutton, Johnny Spears and Skip Morsey. Honorary pallbearer will be Chip Morgan.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Rd., Baker, LA, 70714 Wednesday, September 7, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The visitation will continue on Thursday, September 8, 2016, at Baker Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Graveside service and burial will follow in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, LA. Reverend Daryl Purpera will officiate the services.
