Jason Artie Raffety

A native of Zachary and a resident of New Orleans, Jason passed away on Tuesday, April 07, 2015 at his home. He was 43, and a former scaffold builder.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Sunday, April 12, from 5-9pm, and on Monday, April 13, from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Dr. Bud Traylor. Interment to follow in Roselawn Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. Pallbearers are Michael Raffety, Ryan Raffety, Richard Thomas, Sammy Plaisance, Brennan Chandler, and Steve Caruso.

Jason is survived by a daughter, Amelia Raffety and her fiancée, Brennan Chandler; grandson, Brecken Chandler; mother and step-father, Martha and Richard Thomas; step-mother, Babs Raffety; and three brothers, Patrick Michael Raffety, Jr., Ryan A. Raffety, and Robert Hayward.

He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Jeremy Joseph Raffety; father, Patrick Michael Raffety, Sr.; and grandmothers, Artie Pray and Mamie Sevier.

Jason was a special person, and loved his grandson dearly. He will be deeply missed.
