Jane Hayes

Elizabeth Jane Vidrine Hayes, age 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 28, 2017. She was born on January 29, 1938 to Pierre and Bell Henry Vidrine in Turkey Creek, Louisiana. She was a loving mother and grandmother who never met a stranger. She was an excellent cook and loved crocheting special gifts for family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Cowart and husband, Kenneth and Debbie Gomez and husband, Terry; son, Thomas Hayes, Jr. and wife, Debra; 8 grandchildren, 14 great great-grandchildren; and sister, Clara Goeldner.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hayes, Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Reverend Gary Richerson. Graveside service and burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker, LA.

Pallbearers will be Daryl Hayes, Adam Hayes, Aaron Gomez, David Gomez, Daniel Gomez and Zachary Gomez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andrew Jones, Blaine Gomez, Bryce Gomez, Briggs Gomez, Jackson Budde, Grant Hayes and Beau Ross.
