James "Jimmy" Dennis Evans

James "Jimmy" Dennis Evans, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015 at the age of 64. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran.

Jimmy loved the outdoors and traveling, but most of all, he loved being Daddy Jim.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debby Evans; two daughters, Shawn (Brian) Banes, and Dusty (Joe) Dick; four granddaughters, Aubrey, Autumn, Taylor, and Laney; grandson, Arron; two sisters, Brenda Wood and Wanda (Wilson) Whitehead; brother, Wiley Evans; and numerous nieces, nephews, adopted kids, and aunts and uncles that he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by father, Clarence Evans; and mother, Dorothy Robinson Evans.

Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, on Tuesday, October 20, from 5-9pm, and on Wednesday, October 21 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Ray Abbott. Interment with military honors to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Pallbearers are Mikal Bass, Butch Taylor, Phil Lacuira, Jeremy Crawford, Jason Johnson, and Josh Crawford.
