Jackie Lasseigne

Jackie Nell Lasseigne, 73, beloved wife, mother and grandmother was called to be with her Lord and Savior on September 24, 2016. She entered this world on December 12, 1942 in Starkville, MS, born to William and Ruby Ellis Hawkins. She was a resident of Central for 44 years.

Jackie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles Wayne Lasseigne, Sr.; two sons, Jason T. Lasseigne and wife Amy, Wayne Lasseigne, Jr.; daughter, Pamela S. Boone and husband Gary; seven grandchildren, Mckenzie, Todd, Drew, Everette, Aaron, Alyson and Rylee Lasseigne; sisters, Dixie Hicks and Charlotte Austin.

Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Ellis Hawkins; sister, Sherry Burton; and brothers, Jimmy Hawkins and Walker "Thad" Hawkins.

Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, LA, on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visiting will continue on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. until the service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Wayne Austin and Pastor Jay Coleman will officiate the services. Graveside service will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
