LEWIS, Inez Whittington Smith

A ham radio operator, a retired bookkeeper and a resident of Denham Springs, she passed away at 8:40am on Tues. Feb. 23, 2010 at her home. She was 80, and a native of Hammond. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, Wed. Feb. 24,2010 from 59pm, and Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 from 9am until religious services in the chapel at 11am, conducted by Rev. Keith Mozingo. Interment to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. She is survived by two daughters and sonsinlaw, Peggy Mike Mire Sr. and Elizabeth Ricky Feuntes two sons and a daughterinlaw, Jerome C. Patricia Fernandez, and Michael Smith five sisters, Dovie Rouselle, Edith Sullivan husband Murphy, Clarity Tuttle, Mildred Miller, and Patsy McKnight a brother, Lloyd Whittington and wife, Jenane nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Whittington and Bertie Oller Clement husband, Frank Lewis two sisters, Jeanette Latino Geraldine Stewart, and a brother, Herbert Anthony.
