Hylden Young

Hylden "Wayne" Young, 79 years old, was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on December 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on July 25, 1946, born to Virginia and Hylden Young, in Baton Rouge, LA. Wayne was awarded the National Defense Service Medal as a Heavy Truck Driver in the US Army.

Wayne enjoyed going dancing with his wife Connie in their early years of life. In his free time when he wasn't working, he enjoyed fishing on his property, and spending time with his family, especially his dogs.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Connie Young; son, Troy Young; and grandchildren; Cassidy Young and Cayden Young.

A private burial will take place at Lewis Family Cemetery, on Blackwater Road, Baker, LA, on Tuesday, Decemeber 16th, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
